In our continuing effort to simplify and expedite the licensing process, the SLA is introducing new applications for Off-Premises applicants (grocery stores, drug stores, liquor stores and wine stores). The Licensing Bureau has modified the application by removing all sections not relating directly to Off-Premises applicants. The new applications are directed at improving efficiency by providing an easier licensing process for applicants. Applicants can shorten the timeframe it takes for a decision by reading the instructions thoroughly and submitting a complete application. By utilizing our examiners time on reviewing completed applications, the State Liquor Authority will be able to act on license applications in the most expeditious manner possible. After you have completed the application, use the Filing Checklist found on the Retail Forms Page (link below) to ensure that you have met all filing requirements. Failure to submit any of the required documents may result in the rejection of your application or in processing delays.
