At a special Full Board meeting held on October 27, 2011, the Members of the Authority approved a request from a wholesaler to make sales and deliver product on October 31, 2011 using prices posted in the November 2011 retailer price schedule. The request was made in anticipation of a potential work stoppage by the wholesalers drivers and warehouse staff starting on November 1st. In approving this request, the Members of the Authority directed that any other wholesaler, regardless of any potential work stoppage, may sell and deliver products on October 31st using their November price schedule. This would only be permissible if the November prices are lower than the October prices.
