Emergency Suspensions Ordered for Three Oneonta Bars

The SLA issued Emergency Orders of Summary Suspension of Gandy Dancer Inc, doing business as “The Alley” at 84 Water Street, Oneonta, NY, Today’s Lounge of Oneonta Inc., doing business as “Today’s” at 3 Market Street, Oneonta, NY and Sake Club of Oneonta LLC., doing business as “Sake Club at 99 Main Street, Oneonta, NY. The suspensions were ordered by Members of the SLA, Chairman Dennis Rosen, and Commissioner Jeanique Greene at a meeting of the Full Board on Wednesday, February 1, 2012.

On January 28, 2012 the SLA,Oneonta Police Department, New York State Police, SUNY Oneonta Police, Otsego County Sheriff Deputies, and New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)conducted a multi-agency operation to address underage drinking in the City of Oneonta.   All three establishments were cited for numerous instances of sales to minors.
