Expanded Liquor Store Hours Approved for Rensselaer County

Following a public hearing held on June 29, 2012 in Troy, the State Liquor Authority approved a change in the hours of sale on certain holidays for liquor and wine stores in Rensselaer County. Those licensees may now stay open from 9 AM until 9 PM on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Thanksgiving Day. In the event New Year’s Day falls on a Sunday, those licensees may be open from noon until 9 PM.
